The CGSS, an HQE building (Guadeloupe)
Inaugurated in February 2017, the headquarters of the Caisse Générale de Sécurité Sociale (CGSS) for Guadeloupe and Saint-Martin is located in the new High Environmental Quality (HQE) administrative zone, “Parc d’Activités La Providence,” in the Dothémare ZAC in Les Abymes, Guadeloupe. The headquarters consists of five buildings within a real estate complex known as “KANN’OPE” and covers an area of nearly 10,500 square meters over three levels, housing approximately 870 employees.
Due to their HQE certification according to French standards, the CGSS buildings adhere to a stringent set of guidelines from their construction to their operational phase, demonstrating their commitment to eco-construction, energy-efficient management, and providing comfort (hygrothermal, acoustic, visual, olfactory) for occupants, along with the overall sanitary quality of the premises.
